I see web applications and large-scale admin systems as robust digital ecosystems that must safely withstand enormous amounts of data and complex business processes. When designing them I don't settle for surface aesthetics — I go deep into information architecture and business logic. My goal is to design well-crafted packages where everything connects and makes sense. From the first table to complex permission settings, I build scalable tools that make companies more efficient, minimize users' cognitive load and work flawlessly in real everyday operation.
Data and functionality first
In complex internal systems, B2B platforms and admin interfaces, visual flair steps into the background and pure efficiency, speed and absolute precision take the lead. Users spend hours a day in these systems, so I put extreme emphasis on interface ergonomics, logically structured data grids, advanced filtering and crystal-clear visual hierarchy. Every extra click and every hesitation adds up to an enormous loss of time — so I design user flows to support fluid, focused work and naturally prevent errors.
The essential key to keeping such large, data-heavy projects alive and evolving long-term is a strictly systematic approach. For every web platform I build a robust design system from the ground up. It guarantees not only perfect visual and interaction consistency across hundreds of screens, but above all radically speeds up development itself and makes future scaling easier. Thanks to the atomic approach, every single element becomes part of one perfectly working, easily maintainable whole.
Olive online: Scalable product design
For the Olive online platform I designed the complete administration that serves as the main control center for the entire companion mobile app. The whole system is precisely built on my own comprehensive design system and is architecturally split into two levels — for the company's main administrators and a dedicated "merchant admin" for individual retailers. The administration covers an enormous range of processes: from managing the entire assortment through order fulfillment and management to loyalty modules elaborated in detail. Merchants and administrators have full control over promo banners, recipes, discount campaigns and advanced shopping-cart rules. The result is a powerful tool that directly drives the business inside the app.
From internal corporate systems to global portals
Beyond e-commerce, I have deep experience designing complex internal tools for large corporate players. For Makro I designed several key platforms, including the main administration for managing the content of the Moje Makro app itself. Closely related was the internal Salescockpit system, which Makro's sales representatives use for efficient pricing work and organizing client meetings. For both of these large systems I created dedicated, tailor-made design systems that fully unified the user experience across different departments and processes.
Another major challenge in my portfolio was the complete redesign and rebrand of the well-known Paylab portal (operating in Czechia as Platy.cz). Based on a strictly defined brand manual from the marketing department, I designed a completely new, modern visual identity for the whole site. The biggest technical and UX challenge was the key salary-comparison wizard. I reworked this core tool from the ground up to be fully responsive and to guide users smoothly, without frustration, through a very complex process of entering personal and financial data on mobile devices.
Whether it's a robust B2B pricing tool, an administration with thousands of products, or a public portal that masses of people use to calculate their salary, my core approach never changes. I always aim to create a well-thought-out system where the smallest detail serves a clear purpose. It's not just about designing pretty tables or input forms — it's about deeply understanding the processes behind them and forging them into a final product that genuinely helps users solve their problems and demonstrably saves companies money and time.
